Tulsa’s Matcha Design recently pulled in two awards for excellence in website design from the DesignFirmsโข Web awards for tulsaconservatory.org and bluespeedav.com. The DesignFirmsโข Web awards showcase some of the best work on the Web from designers and developers around the world.
“We had two of our clients’ sites highlightedย earlier this yearย by the DesignFirmsโข Web awards, and it is exciting for our team to see more of our clients’ work being honored,” said Chris Lo, President and Creative Director at Matcha Design.
The first award was forย BlueSpeedAV, an Oklahoma AV company focusing on custom technology solutions for residential and commercial spaces. BlueSpeed’s new brand identity was integrated into the design to give the company a fresh, sleek, and competitive website for its industry. Custom photography from ChrisLoPhotography.com is featured throughout the site, and hidden technology is identified in the photos to boost visitor engagement and understanding of BlueSpeed’s services. The vibrant website design and thoughtful functionality make this project well deserve this award.
“This fresh website design will break BlueSpeed into a higher level in their industry,” said Chris. “We really accented the sleek blue colors and website features to enhance BlueSpeed’s focus on quality innovation for their clients.”
The second award was forย Barthelmes Conservatory which provides music education for the larger Tulsa community. Their website design needed a more relevant look and feel to recruit more students and boost support for the nonprofit’s fundraising efforts. Matcha Design did aย total redesign for the siteย and implemented user-friendly navigation and design organization. In addition, the Matcha creative team shot a series of seven mini-videos to enhance the user experience and storytelling power of the site.
“The redesign improved our web presence in a number of ways,” said Candice Chinsethagid, Director of Operations at Barthelmes Conservatory. “It brought us into a modern existence and gave us a reason to direct visitors to our site. Plus, it gave us a sense of pride via ownership and organization of materials.”
